TRACE is a dynamic and growing international business organization based in Annapolis, Maryland that supports the compliance efforts of multinational companies. The Digital Marketing Associate is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, reporting on KPIs, managing social media and owning the TRACE website. The ideal candidate understands how to build integrated marketing campaigns, is tech-savvy, detailed oriented and a team player who works well in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Senior Director of Engagement, Strategy and Communications.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns
  • Report on marketing KPIs including conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement
  • Own website metrics
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Plan, implement and manage paid search and display advertising
  • Track email campaign metrics (deliver, open, click-through rates)
  • Interpret data, formulate quarterly reports and make recommendations on website and campaign optimization
  • Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and product launches
  • Manage outside web developer relationship
  • Monitor and optimize marketing budget
  • Conduct competitor research and report on findings
  • Create presentations on digital marketing strategy objectives and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and marketing best practices
  • Work with senior management on annual marketing strategy
  • Assist with various tasks, including research, as needed

 

Requirements/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing and advertising, including SEO/Google Analytics
  • Experience with reporting/data analysis
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications
  • Proficient in HubSpot (or equivalent) software and in managing a CMS
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud and HTML/CSS preferred
  • Interest in international affairs and/or policy a plus
