TRACE is a dynamic and growing international business association based in Annapolis, Maryland that provides multinational companies with anti-bribery resources and tools in support of their compliance efforts. This is a great opportunity for a junior compliance professional who wants to continue their career in the anti-corruption compliance field or a more senior lawyer looking for a flexible schedule.


TRACE's dynamic and growing Compliance Resources and Legal Research team is seeking a full-time FCPA Compliance Specialist to help expand and coordinate TRACE's compliance resources in the areas of transnational anti-bribery law and enforcement. In-house compliance experience is required, including familiarity with relevant laws and instruments—including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.




  • Conduct reviews of new and existing resources with an eye toward improved service to TRACE members
  • Build a dynamic collection of information and compliance resources based on TRACE’s information needs
  • Research and monitor legislative and regulatory issues that may affect the organization’s members and assist with presentations as needed
  • Contribute to senior management strategies and decisions regarding tools, services and toolkits for the organization
  • Support the online training function by researching and summarizing substantive, actionable content
  • Be willing to conduct live or pre-recorded trainings



  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a compliance-related capacity in-house, preferably at a multinational company
  • Must be located within the United States
  • A J.D. or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited law school preferred but not required
  • Analytic thoroughness and rigorous attention to detail
  • Superior writing skills
  • Independence and initiative
  • Ability and desire to learn
  • Interest in international business
  • Fluency in a second language preferred
